Baby Shower Games

It’s easy to attend a baby shower but now that you are the one planning the baby shower, how do you entertain the guests? Let Momma Bear share some of her expertise in organizing the games and prizes.

Name the Baby Animals (Free Download)

Print one game card for each guest. Print one answer key for yourself. Give each guest 4 - 5 minutes to fill in the blanks with the corresponding baby animal name. Read the correct answers from the key and whoever gets the most correct is the winner!

Baby Babble Word Unscramble (Free Download)

Print one answer key for yourself. Print one game card for each guest and pass one to each with a pen or pencil. Give your guests 5-6 minutes to unscramble the words. Or play until someone unscrambles all of the words. The first one to unscramble all of the words or unscramble the most words in the allotted time is the winner!

Measure Mommy’s Tummy with Toilet Paper

Provide several rolls of toilet paper to the party goers. Ask each person to guess how big around the expectant mommy’s belly is by tearing off a strip of toilet paper. Each person takes turns wrapping their toilet paper strip around the expectant mother's belly. The person closest to the actual size, wins.

What Does It Cost? Baby Accessory Pricing

Before the baby party, purchase 10 - 12 small baby items for this shower game. Keep the receipt, so you know how much each baby item costs. Prepare a list of the items and print a copy for each guest. Print an answer key for yourself.  Items suggestions:

During the shower, give each guest a list and a pen. Show each item to the group and have them write down what they think it costs. Then have them add up their prices for all the items. The one closest to the actual total on your receipt (minus the tax) is the winner! Present the expectant mother with the baby items. She will need them!

Diaper Pin Silence

Purchase enough diaper pins for every guest. Choose a “silence” word beforehand such as the baby’s name, mom’s name or dad’s name. As each guest arrives, secure a pin to her shirt and tell her that if she says the silence word during the party she loses her pin. The person wearing the last pin wins a prize.
